Whether we understand or do not understand God’s thoughts, there is one thing we are always called to do: Look to the cross of Jesus, listen to Him, and follow Him. Remember the unconditional love of God and the absolute sovereignty of God that are revealed through the cross. And then, let us be faithful with what we can do today, humbling ourselves and trusting God.
神様の思い・考えが分かっても、分からなくても、私たちに求められていることは、イエス様の十字架を見上げて、イエス様に聞き従うことです。そして、イエス様の十字架に表わされている、神様の無条件の愛と絶対的な主権を覚え、今自分にできること、任されていることに忠実に生きることです。
In this world, we cannot avoid suffering. But we walk with the One who has already achieved ultimate victory. So whatever you face, trust in God. Remember the cross and the resurrection of Christ. Rely on the help of the Holy Spirit. And keep walking forward in faith.
この世で悩み苦しみに遭うことは避けられません。しかし、絶対的な勝利者なるイエス様がいつもあなたと共におられます。いついかなるときも、何があったとしても、神様に信頼し、イエス様の十字架と復活を覚え、聖霊の助けにすがりつつ、歩み続けることができますように。
There may be seasons when you pray and pray, yet circumstances worsen rather than improve. You may feel lost and uncertain. You may even begin to question whether God hears your prayers—or whether God is there at all. In such moments, lift your eyes to the cross.
神様に祈っても、祈っても、祈っても、祈りが答えられず、状況がどんどん悪くなってしまうとき。どうしていいか分からず途方に暮れてしまうとき。神様が本当に自分の祈りを聞いてくださっているのか、神様が本当にいるのかさえも分からなくなってしまうとき。そんなときは、イエス様の十字架を見上げてください。
If you are walking through sorrow, know this: Jesus is with you. He is working through the details you cannot see. And He will one day bring you into everlasting joy. Until that day, let us place our hope in Him. Let us walk daily with the Sovereign Lord who is full of love, compassion, and power.
神様はいつの日か必ず、神様のタイミングと神様の方法によって、あなたを今のその辛く苦しい状況から救い出してくださいます。必ずやもたらされるその日に希望を置いて、今のこの世を、愛と憐れみと力に満ちた主権者なる主と共に日々、歩み続けていくことができますように。
「自分の敵を愛することなんてできない」と思うとき、敵であったあなたを愛してくださった神様の愛を思い起こしてください。神様のあなたに対する愛に思いを馳せてみてください。そして、神様が愛してくださっているように、周りの人を愛することができるように祈り求めてみてください。
世の中においては、あなたが何をできるのか、何をしたのかよって、あなたの価値が決まります。対して神様は、あなたが何をできるのか、何をしたのかに関係なく、あなたの存在そのものにこの上ないほどの価値があるとおっしゃってくださいます。あなたはもう既に神様にこの上ないほどに愛されています。
